New cards from the Mosaic collection at Collage Greetings. Last spring I completed this new group for Collage featuring the large blooms that have been really popular for us. I'm so happy with how these new styles have turned out! They are constructed with a beautiful art panel attached to brown kraft card stock. A fancy little rhinestone is centered on the featured flower of each card. They are oh so frameable... the art panel is a nice print in itself. This new group of 24 initial cards will replace my Goldenflower Studio line which is being retired after 10 years. Cards are available either blank or greeted.

BUT.... I think I just accidentally republished an old post (Falcon of Love) while updating the posts to the new layout. That was last year during my birthday week.
So, here's a brand new illustration to enjoy... now appearing in the 2014 A Fearless Woman calendar products.
Begin again, believe again... never give up!
Dreaming in the fearless way means flying to new galaxies, naming new stars,
finding your way to impossible worlds."
I have to admit, I got a little chill up my spine when my new Brush Dance samples arrived. I REALLY love this new 2014 date book. The Brush Dance products are just so astoundingly high-quality and wonderful to behold. The date books feel so well-crafted and inspired... with the hard cover and spiral binding... and many added features like the inside folder-type page that can hold loose papers and cards. The image above is of the cover art, not the actual datebook, but you can go the Brush Dance website and see the actual product.
It's been sitting on my desk the last few weeks and reminding me of what I wanted to share when I wrote the verse for this page.
How often do we forget that fearless dreaming is the antidote for all worry, doubt and fear. Don't you dare shrink from the power that you hold! Remember that you know everything about being bold-hearted... your faint-hearted hesitation only creates more gravity, preventing lift-off and flight. Hey, fearless dreamer, impossible worlds are beckoning.
Blazing a Trail - She rides over rough terrain is an illustration from the new 2014 A Fearless Woman wall calendar.
HOLY BLAZING CHANGES FEARLESS WOMAN!
I've announced on my (poor, neglected) A Fearless Woman blog that I'm no longer posting or updating on that blog but will just leave it live for archives of posts and art. I'm expanding this blog to include news and updates on all my art and projects. My old website (also neglected), goldenflowerstudio.com, will close. My original card line is undergoing a makeover and will debut sometime in July. This particular transformation is pretty exciting and an example of wonderful serendipity. Here on this site I'm looking for the right slideshow/album set-up to add images to this blog - which will soon become jeanninerobertsroyce.com. All of my future work will be under my name only.
All of this online simplifying and retooling spills over into the rest of my life. There's more time and energy for reading, walking, flower gazing, enjoying face to face time with those I love, and, of course, writing and creating art. As I reinvigorate my business I feel more enthused and ready for all that is possible.
Along with this comes more lightness and vitality, feeling more responsive to those little voices and prompts from the Mystery that inspire my work. I'm going to go sit in the backyard now with a book but I know the book may just sit on my lap while I gaze from sky to treetops to bees teasing flower devas. Feeling what it feels like to be still, to give myself permission to be in wonderment.
This is the flat card if you were to lay it open. On the left (back) will be the Calypso information and price etc. This is one of a dozen in a new series now shipping to stores. I created the cards based on illustrations from my new series Gratelful Heart, Joyful Woman. More of these illustrations are in posts below.
Soon... very soon, I'll be revisiting this theme for the next series to be published as 2016 calendar products (by Brush Dance). Hard to conceive of - 2016! But, the illustrations for 2015 are long since finished.
Right now, in June, I'm immersed in creating new illustrations for the 2016 A Fearless Woman and that always puts me in an interesting frame of mind. I jump back and forth between working on writing the text and designing the illustrations. Each caption gets written and rewritten, and many are tossed aside, until the piece has life to it and resonates with me as something that will be true to the experiences of women who are, or are in the process of becoming, who they were born to be, meant to be, yearning to be... not the least of which is FEARLESS!
I'm excited about a new journal coming out in August! Brush Dance will be publishing a collection of journals with cover art by their wonderful group of artists... and one of these new journals will feature art from A Fearless Woman. They should be in stores or on the BD website by late summer.
Let's see, what else?.... More changes are afoot and I'll be announcing other news sometime in July. I am closing my Goldenflower website and expanding this blog platform to have everything in one place. Still tinkering with ideas for the final web presence. I've added buttons here for art, story etc
And, oh yes, here is the rest of the caption from the original illustration that the new card (above) was taken from:
Joy looks good on you. It's a perfect fit! When wrapped in sparkling bliss and wonderment, you walk like the shining beauty that you are. Joy becomes you.
Try that on for size.
Somehow this summer is feeling more flamboyantly gorgeous, poignant, heart-opening than any in recent memory. I am making it my business to notice and sponge up every sensation, every nuance of scent and sound, every delight of the visual feast. Even after the gate was left open and the deer ate the tops off all my baby sunflowers, I am smiling and grateful for what they left. Grateful for all that is good.
